a prediction coming true already?

so in an earlier post (about two posts ago) i gave my predictions for 2011 and it looks like i might be right on one of them in the second week of the year. the iPhone coming to verizon. it seems like everyone is saying that the iPhone is coming to verizon and that is what the announcement will be on tuesday. i don't know if this is true but it would be cool on two parts. first would be the mass exodus from the at&t network of the apple fanpeople. and second would be the relief on the at&t network. both would be wins, obviously. i want to point out why i think this is actually going down. on macrumors.com they say that the invites to the press event in NYC went out to the normal press people except for one blog. Gizmodo. but why Gizmodo, they have always been friendly with Verizon. True, but not with apple. at least since before the whole iphone 4 leak. one thing i heard that is interesting, is that the iphone 5 (or the iphone that will be anounced in the normal cycle) will be an at&t exclusive phone. thoughts or other comments posted below.

Remakes Can't Be Exact

I'm watching the US Top Gear and while I watch the episode I can't help but have an argument in my head. "Why can't the US version be more like the UK version." This kept popping in my head. The one thing I have to remember and everyone else needs to realize. If you make the show and it is an exact reproduction of the original then you might as well just save your money and bring over the original. But on the other hand if you shoot a show and it is a reproduction by name only for example you take NBC's "Community" a sitcom about people at community college and change it to a drama about a community center, well you might as well change the name of the show. The point is that you have to find this balance of original to the reproduction. I hear people complain that the US Top Gear is terrible and that they should quit and stuff like that but people don't realize that if you want the UK Top Gear then watch it on BBC America when the show airs. The way I look at it is if you are a major gear head that loves car this could be the best way to watch the best car show just about year round.

NSFW show episode 56 a rooker looks back

so I'm watching nsfw starring Brian Brushwood and Justin Robert Young and they are talking to Michael Rooker. You know Merle from "The Walking Dead." and he had a great point that he made about playing a KKK thug in "Mississippi Burning." Brian asked Rooker how he could play such a (pardon the language) racist bastard, you know someone with so much hate. Rooker said something amazing. He just looks at the pages in front of him and doesn't think about it like that. He doesn't go into this thinking "O I hate black people" or " O them D*** N*****s" he looks at it differently and that amazes me because it seems like thinking like a racist would be way too easy. if you want to watch the clip fast forward to about 53 minutes in the video below.

Predictions 2011

So it's the end of the year and you know what that means... predictions! It seems like everyone is giving out their predictions, so I think I'll add my hat to the ring.

1. I will get a mac book pro in the coming year. OK so not really a prediction but I figured I would mention it.

The Real #1. apple will announce an update to the mac book pro line, and end the mac book. this too me makes sense because the last update to the mac book pro was the uni body design and seeing the Intel core i-5 on the 13 inch model would be AWESOME.

#2. true 4G will roll out in cities in the US. Now when I say 4G I mean the 1gig down speeds we were promised.

#3. The iPhone will come to either Verizon or Sprint. OK I know this has been said from too many blogs but I feel that this WILL happen in the first half of the year. If it comes to Verizon, then people will complain about speed but not about shotty 3G coverage. If it comes to Sprint then I think it will most likely be a 4G phone, Verizon might also bet a 4G iPhone but more than likely Sprint would get the 4G push.

#4. Star Wars: The Old Republic will come out in the Second Half of 2011. More of a hope as I am a huge Star Wars fan.

well i could only come up with 4 predictions but i feel like these predictions have the best bet of coming true.

To Save A Life

I just got done watching the movie "To Save A Life" and it is really good. If you don't know what the movie is about it tells the story of one teenager and his struggle his the suicide of his childhood friend. That's all I'm gonna say about the movie. The one thing that hit me the most is something that was never in the movie itself. It was my story, my testimony. My pastors tell me to write out my testimony so I can get a better understanding of my story to share it with others like I want to do.

Basically this is MY STORY.

During my senior homecoming my friends were enjoying a good dance and becoming homecoming king and queen. You know the typical high school things. Well I had decided to end my life. Me and my sister were arguing because she wanted to go with me to pick up mom from work so she could go to meijer to get a few things. That time has always been quiet time with myself and God, and I just didn't want to let her go with me (stupid right). Well I got angry and decided to to break stuff in a fit of rage. after wards the devil got into my head and was telling me the lies of how I'm not worth the air I'm breathing and how no one will ever love me and just all these lies. Lies that I believed. So I took the rest of my perscription muscle relaxers, about 8-10 pills. Now for those of you out their that don't know what overdosing on muscle relaxers does to your body I'll tell you, they speed up your heart faster and faster and faster until your heart can't handle it and stops all together. After that I told my mom and she was told by a friend to just watch me and make sure I'm alright. About 10-20 minutes later my mom is told to take me to the hospital and that's when reality hit me. My mom started crying right there and I came to the realization that I made a mistake and that I could be forgivin by God. And that God already forgave me and was telling me to stop believing the lies satan was telling me.

I wrote all this to tell you that if your like me or like I was that there is hope and there is more to life than the little hard time in your life and that I call this a "little" hard time because it truly is little in the eyes of God who loves you no matter what you have done.
